Wax Dab
Wax dab rig is a water pipe used to inhale dabs. It looks like a bong, with a chamber that holds water for cooling vapor, but instead of a bowl for flower as in a bong, a dab rig has a nail for concentrates.
Cannabis concentrates called dabs are available in a range of textures. They are used in a dab rig, e-rig, or dab pen to be eaten. Dabbing is a very hot procedure that vaporizes concentrates between 400 and 600 degrees Fahrenheit, while smoking or combusting flower occurs at about 350 degrees.
A common dab rig resembles a bong in appearance; it is a glass component with a chamber for water and a nail for dabbing instead of a bowl for flower. The nail is typically burned with a torch and allowed to cool to the proper temperature before dropping in a dab due to the high temperatures required to dab.
Dabs get their name from their texture, and the texture reveals something about the manufacturing process. To produce a wide variety of various dabs, there are numerous extraction techniques (see below).
All dabs are untidy to deal with, sticky, and come in a range of colors, including yellow, amber, brown, and even white.
A dab rig’s nail must be heated with a torch and then allowed to cool to the proper temperature in order to be used. The intense heat vaporizes the cannabis concentrate that has been injected inside the nail. The dabber inhales while holding a carb cap over the nail to control the airflow.
Before reaching the dabber’s lungs, the vapor passes from the nail into the rig’s main chamber and is cooled by water.
Tools required for setting up a dab rig for wax and shatter
To get a concentrate out of its container and into your lungs while dabbing traditionally with a flame, you need a number of tools. Despite the rapid advancement of dab technology and the regular release of new goods and accessories, a conventional dab setup requires
